TouchTunes is seeking a Staff Mobile Developer (iOS & React Native) to lead and ship advanced mobile experiences. You will blend native iOS (Swift/SwiftUI) with React Native, mentor engineers, and drive architecture decisions across platforms.

You will champion AI-assisted development, evaluate new tech, and collaborate with product, design, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact features for customers in venues.

Formación

• 8+ years in iOS development, preferably with customer-facing apps.
• Strong Swift and SwiftUI proficiency.
• Hands-on React Native experience, including brownfield integration.
• Familiar with React Native bridge/JSI and hybrid architectures.
• Experience using AI tools for coding, reviews, and testing.
• Ability to discuss software design patterns and architecture.

Your mission in the Staff Mobile Developer (iOS & React Native) team:

• Develop strategies to ensure the team stays up to date with new frameworks and technologies, across both native iOS and React Native ecosystems.
• Anticipate the skills needed in the short and medium term for the team and support the implementation of development activities.
• Ensure monitoring of actions, and that feedback is relevant and constructive.
• Implement effective tools and means of communication within the team.
• Bring to life the next version of our native iOS application by coding features!
• Contribute to the hiring process by determining the team's needs and interviewing candidates.
• Guide the integration of React Native modules within our native iOS codebase, defining best practices for the bridge between native and cross-platform code.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to both native iOS developers and developers working on React Native integrations.
• Champion the adoption of AI within the team: identify where AI-assisted development (code generation, code review, testing, documentation) can boost productivity and quality, define best practices for responsible use, and lead by example

Your profile:

• You possess 8+ years in iOS development, ideally with customer-facing apps.
• You have a strong understanding of Swift and SwiftUI.
• You have hands-on experience with React Native, including integrating React Native components into existing native iOS applications (brownfield integration).
• You understand the React Native bridge/JSI, native modules, and how to architect a hybrid codebase where native and React Native code coexist cleanly.
• You actively leverage AI tools in your daily workflow (AI-assisted coding, code review, test generation, refactoring) and can critically evaluate their output — you know when to trust it and when to question it.
• You are familiar with unidirectional data flow architecture.
• You can engage in discussions about software design patterns and architecture — both in native iOS and cross-platform contexts.
• You have a deep understanding of software design patterns for clean, consistent, simple, and efficient code.
• You know how to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, design, product management, and other developers to define, design, and release new features.
• You are passionate about problem solving and you understand how and when to make a compromise — including when to build natively versus in React Native.
• You have exceptional communication skills, allowing you to translate complex nontechnical stakeholder needs into precise technical requirements for your team.
• You know how to guide and mentor members of the software engineering team — both iOS and React Native developers — in design and architecture planning, conduct exhaustive code reviews across Swift and TypeScript, and facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions to foster skill growth and advancement
