TouchTunes is seeking a Platform DBA in Guadalajara with strong AWS cloud database experience. You will own AWS-hosted data platforms, optimize performance, and collaborate with development teams on data architecture and migrations.

Responsibilities include automating provisioning with IaC, managing backups and DR, and enabling high availability across production environments. Hybrid work with up to 50% remote in Mexico.

Formación

• Essential – Passion for cloud database engineering, automation, and performance across multiple AWS data services.
• Experience administering Linux-based systems and strong hands-on AWS experience (CloudWatch, CloudFormation/Terraform, DocDB, Dynamo, S3, OpenSearch).
• Oracle database administration experience is a strong asset, incl. RMAN, Data Guard, and upgrades/patching.

Your mission in the platform DBA team

: TouchTunes is looking for a passionate technology professional with a strong focus on AWS cloud database services and data platform engineering. In this role, you will be part of the Platform Data Engineering team and will play a key role in the design, automation, operation, and optimization of cloud-native data services that power our large-scale, high-availability application

s.You will take ownership of several AWS-hosted database platforms, ensuring security, scalability, resiliency, and cost-effectiveness across the fleet. This includes infrastructure automation, upgrades, performance tuning, and close collaboration with development teams to ensure optimal data usage and architecture decisions. You will also help operate and modernize a set of self-managed Oracle data platforms as we continue our cloud journe
