Kohler Co. in Juárez, Mexico is seeking a Staff Engineer (Finishing Process) to lead plating and PVD finishing operations at the SFO facility. The role directs flow of materials, equipment operation, and development of process documentation and routings.

You will develop new processes, assist cost estimates for the NPM group, and collaborate with supplier networks to launch products globally. Requires a BS ABET with 5+ years in plating/PVD; advanced degree preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science Degree (ABET) with a minimum of 5 years in plating and PVD finishing operations.
• Background in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Physics, Chemistry, Metallurgy or related field.
• Advanced engineering degree with coursework in PVD/Thin Film Systems preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Direct the flow of material and operation of all equipment for plating and PVD processes.
• Detect and diagnose equipment and process problems; understand prior and subsequent operations.
• Develop detailed process specifications and routings for manufacturing.
• Develop all necessary process documentation and training.
• Initiate investigations and testing of new processes to improve cost, quality, and productivity.
• Assist with cost estimates to New Product Manufacturing Engineering group.
• Collaborate with Kohler supplier network domestically or internationally.
• Support New Product Development in launching new products by providing technical assessments and tooling designs.
