Nextiva is seeking a Staff DevOps Engineer to lead the design and evolution of our platform engineering practice. You will own a multi-cluster Kubernetes platform, drive GitOps workflows, and build a self-service developer platform that accelerates engineering teams while preserving reliability and security.

You will collaborate across AI/ML workloads, cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), and observability tooling to optimize performance and cost.

Formación

• 8+ years of DevOps/platform/infrastructure engineering experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on Kubernetes experience in production environments.
• Strong cloud infra experience across AWS and GCP.
• Strong GitOps and IaC experience with modern tooling.
• Ability to design internal developer platforms and paved-road tooling.

Responsabilidades

• Own the architecture and roadmap for multi-cluster Kubernetes platform.
• Establish GitOps-based deployment workflows with Argo CD or Flux.
• Design internal developer platform with self-service compute, environments, and observability.
• Architect service mesh, networking, and ingress for reliable, secure communications.
• Define platform standards for GPU/ML workload scheduling on Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with AI/ML teams on infrastructure requirements for training/inference.
• Drive capacity planning and cost optimization across Kubernetes and cloud infra.
• Set technical direction and review platform-impacting changes.
• Define platform reliability through SLOs, incident response, and postmortems.
• Mentor engineers and participate in cross-organizational decisions.
