Nextiva is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to own and modernize CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling. You’ll collaborate with engineering teams to accelerate code-to-production, improve reliability, and create reusable tooling across services.

You will help adopt progressive delivery, IaC, and AI‑assisted capabilities while strengthening deployment practices in a modern microservices platform. Remote within Mexico with onsite option near Guadalajara.

Formación

• 5+ years of DevOps or software engineering experience with a focus on CI/CD and tooling.
• Experience with modern CI/CD platforms: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI, Buildkite.
• Design pipelines as code and reusable templates.
• Solid understanding of Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments.
• Infra‑as‑Code experience: Terraform and/or Ansible.
• Linux scripting in Bash, Python, or Go.
• Experience with messaging systems like Kafka/Redis/RabbitMQ.
• Observability tooling: Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or ELK.
• Strong communication and cross‑team collaboration to drive tooling adoption.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines across services and teams.
• Improve deployment safety with canary, blue/green, and feature flags.
• Create reusable pipeline templates and self‑service tooling.
• Improve build performance via caching and parallelization.
• Reduce friction in local development, testing, CI, and deployment workflows.
• Incorporate AI-assisted capabilities into developer workflows (diagnostics, test generation, code review).
• Enforce software supply‑chain security and SBOM generation.
• Use IaC to provision and maintain CI/CD infrastructure.
• Monitor pipeline health and drive continuous improvements.
• Promote DevOps practices through clear communication and enablement.
