Collaborating with Sales, Marketing Representatives and Key Opinion Leaders (KOL’s) to gain deep insights into Customer Experience.
Identify potential product improvements based on customer and commercial interactions.
Align the business partners in prioritizing customer experience and business opportunities to improve on-market customer experience.
Proactively monitor, analyze, and propose improvements for products used commercially.
Independently develop, design, and implement product quality solutions to improve on-market product quality and services.
Conceives, plans, and implements solutions to technical problems requiring creative approaches, new designs, equipment, and process development.
Apply validated problem-solving methodologies to uncover root causes founded in physics, experimentation, and data analyses.
Solution development may include prototyping of instruments and implants which may require, scientific experiments and test method development,
Perform product performance and system reliability through verification and validation.
Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level
Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable.
For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable
Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in scientific/technical field required; Biomedical Engineering Degree preferred
Minimum 6-8 years work experience
Product Development and Engineering experience.
Competent in 3D CAD and ability to build detailed part drawings using Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing.
Composition, execution, and analysis for development and characterization protocols
Investigation and problem-solving/root cause identification using the latest in techniques (such as Shainin RedX, Statistical Engineering (SE) and Blackbelt methodologies).
Technical understanding of manufacturing equipment, processes, and product design
Understands New Product Development processes and requirements
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
Understanding of GMP/ISO regulations or validation practices in a regulated environment
Experience working across functions to deliver complex projects
In-depth knowledge of Product/Process Risk Management (FDA and ISO standards)
Verbal and written communication skills, project management, problem solving, business/financial acumen, six sigma and process excellence tools/methodologies, presentation skills, training/education methodologies, people leadership, and talent development.
Preferred:
Minitab Experience
Advanced technical training in statistics or Process Excellence certification.
Experience working with External Manufacturing.
Experience with automation & machining technologies
SolidWorks experience a plus
