GDL Connect, a US-based company with operations in Guadalajara, Mexico, seeks an accounting professional to grow in healthcare finance operations. You will assist with daily financial transactions, reconciliations, reporting, and month-end close activities.

The role emphasizes accuracy, GAAP compliance, and collaboration across departments. Requirements include a completed Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, 2–3 years of accounting experience, proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks or NetSuite;

• 2–3 years accounting experience preferred, ideally in banking/financial services.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, etc).
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Record and classify financial transactions related to healthcare operations.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports.
• Perform bank reconciliations.
• Support the processing of payments to vendors, investors, and third parties.
• Help maintain accurate general ledger accounts and subledgers.
• Assist with audits and ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
• Track and reconcile funding, payoffs, and servicing entries.
• Collaborate with different departments for financial data accuracy.

About the role:

This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their accounting career while gaining hands‑on experience in healthcare finance operations. This role will assist with daily financial transactions, reconciliations, reporting, and supporting month-end close activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record and classify financial transactions related to healthcare operations.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports.
• Perform bank reconciliations.
• Support the processing of payments to vendors, investors, and third parties.
• Help maintain accurate general ledger accounts and subledgers.
• Assist with audits and ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
• Track and reconcile funding, payoffs, and servicing entries.
• Collaborate with the different departments for financial data accuracy.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (completed).
• 2-3 years of accounting experience preferred, ideally in the banking, or financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and GAAP.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, etc).
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Willingness to healthcare industry regulations and financial workflows.

What We Offer:

• Salary $26k - $27k gross
• Full law benefits (20 days of Christman bonus at year, 37.5% of vacation prime instead of 25%)
• Punctuality and attendance bonus of $2,200 MXN tax free monthly
