Sr Trade Compliance Specialist

Responsibilities

• Comply with all IMMEX and Mexico Customs regulations.
• Update and control data in Annex 24 and ERP integration.
• Apply all available Duty or Tax reduction programs Prosec, Rule 8 and Annex 30 VAT certification.
• USMCA qualification rules, analysis and record keeping.
• Vendors Certifications coordination and validation process.
• HTS classifications, drawings and MSDS, Binding Rulings knowledge.
• US Customs Compliance, ADDCVD, Special programs 9802, 9801.
• ERP information reports used BOMS, Routings, Cost, PO, production planning.
• Procedure elaboration and implementation.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in international Trade, Foreign Trade, business, or related field.
• 5 years in import export experience or related discipline and proficient in reading, writing, and speaking in English.
• High level understanding of materials flow – Supply Chain (warehouse entries, cycle counting, materials adjustments, SCRAP).
• Microsoft Office and proficient computer skills.
• Proactive engagement.
• Able to make decisions using data provided.
