Overview

As a Sr Trade Compliance Analyst here at Honeywell, you will have a significant impact on the company's global operations and success. Responsibilities

• Ensure import transactions are executed in compliance with all applicable Customs laws and regulations while maximizing duty-savings for the company.
• Manage the site(s) import compliance Maquiladora program to ensure the proper application and execution of Customs laws, processes, and procedures.
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for complex and high-level Corporate import compliance initiatives.
• Lead projects tied to US Customs Reconciliation, Country of Origin verification, USMCA Reviews.
• Conduct site risk assessments, audits, and support to complete corrective actions to mitigate risks in Maquiladora sites.
• Possess a substantial working knowledge of Customs regulations.
• Applies greater judgment to import transaction and can handle difficult and complex transactions using skills from experience or advanced training/education to resolve a wide range of issues in imaginative as well as practical ways.
• Develops and applies new processes and procedures.

YOU MUST HAVE

• 5+ years of experience in trade compliance, preferably in a multinational company
• Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Business Administration, or related field
• Strong knowledge of import and export regulations, including customs laws, export controls, and sanctions
• Experience in managing trade compliance programs, including classification, licensing, and compliance audits
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex regulations and provide practical solutions
• Advanced English
