Formación

• 7 years of experience in tooling engineering with a focus on manufacturing processes.
• Strong background in GD&T and CNC programming for complex part design.

Job Description:

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Design tools based on Gulfstream Tool Design Manual.
2. Provide the necessary support to ensure manufacturing process flow in compliance with engineering requirements and quality standards, seeking continuous improvement of manufacturing processes in accordance with the goals and/or objectives of the SBU.
3. Work in a team environment on improvements and projects.
4. Handle high complexity tasks and projects.
5. Meet high-performance expectations.
6. Coordinate the execution of tool designs, NC Programs, material procurement, Fabrication & Inspection, as the work orders require.
7. Train others in critical tasks to achieve internal/external goals.
8. Select and/or design new technologies for Assembly/Drill fixtures.
9. Supervise monthly operations.
10. Make critical decisions and solve problems that may affect company goals.
11. Have the ability to impact business.
12. Supervise mature-senior employees and be responsible for team tasks.
13. Use judgment and creativity to make changes, negotiate with external clients.
14. Perform analysis that helps and impacts the company's decision.
15. Conduct analysis to make departmental decisions that could impact other areas.
16. Lead people/teams from different areas for projects.
17. Train others in administrative tasks, design, and NC programming to achieve internal/external goals.
18. Possess strong skills in GD&T applied to tools design, high level in design of complex parts, and knowledge of CNC programming on machining of 3, 4 & 5 Axis.
