Job Description

As a Sr Supply Planner here at Honeywell, you will lead activities across the supply chain network to deploy the Honeywell Global Design Model (GDM) and facilitate its full adoption across your network. You will work onsite at our Mexicali location. In this role, you will oversee the monthly production planning process cycle for your network of sites and ensure finished goods production plans align with site and network supply plans to maximize customer satisfaction and maintain working capital within business goals. Additionally, you will ensure that network capacity plans and constrained master production schedules optimize labor and machine resources while achieving cost control, productivity, and working capital objectives.

Responsibilities

1. Lead the monthly production planning process cycle for your assigned product cells at the Torrance site.
2. Ensure network capacity plans and constrained master production schedules optimize labor and machine resources.
3. Collaborate with functional teams to resolve demand, capacity constraints, and material availability issues. Support planners in maintaining accurate planning parameters and material master data.
4. Participate in monthly SIOP meetings to approve network production plans, present associated risks, and discuss mitigation strategies with leadership.
5. Achieve maximum customer satisfaction and ensure working capital remains within business goals.

Qualifications

You Must Have

• 7+ years of experience in supply planning, operations planning/scheduling, materials management, or related functional areas.
• 3+ years of experience in supply chain within a manufacturing environment, preferably in defense and aerospace.
• 5+ years planning experience using SAP ERP system.

• Experience in planning, materials management, operations, SIOP, inventory management, MRP/MPS, procurement logistics, and manufacturing.
• Experience with Kinaxis-RapidResponse or Maestro.
• APICS or CPIM Certification.
