Una empresa de confitería líder en Monterrey, Nuevo León, busca un Line Lead para supervisar la implementación del sistema de producción Lean. El candidato ideal tendrá al menos 3 años de experiencia en entornos de manufactura complejos y un fuerte conocimiento técnico. Será responsable de la gestión de equipos de trabajo y asegurará estándares de calidad y eficiencia en la producción. Se ofrece un ambiente dinámico con oportunidades de desarrollo profesional.

Formación

  • Se requiere mínimo 3 años de experiencia supervisando en un entorno de manufactura complejo de alta velocidad.
  • Se prefiere 1 año de supervisión de producción en Hershey.
  • Se prefiere al menos 1 año de experiencia en Manufactura Lean/TPM.

Responsabilidades

Position: Line Lead (Jefe de producción / Coordinador de Manufactura)
Location: Monterrey Nuevo León, Escobedo

Purpose of the position:

The Line Lead is one of the three key players in the Line Centric Team (LCT)and is responsible for driving the implementation and maturation of the Hershey Lean Production System (HLPS) on its assigned lines by implementing the HLPS Standards and Daily Management Systems (DMS), delivering stability, predictability, flexibility, agility, and efficiency to the operation.

The Line Lead is a member of the Business Unit (BU) leadership team and works closely with the BU leader, the rest of the LCT (Process Lead and Reliability Lead), and other functional areas in the BU team to achieve business results. They ensure adherence to EHS, safety, food safety, quality regulatory requirements, and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning and Administration:
    • Responsible for financial planning, direction, and administration of the operations staff for the designated LCT lines.
    • Ensures employees have the necessary training and skills to successfully perform their roles.
    • Creates a work environment of trust that motivates staff to continue developing and contributing to the growth of the company.
  • Development and Management of Standard Work:
    • Responsible for the development and day-to-day management of Standard Work.
    • Owns the Clean, Inspection, and Lubrication (CIL) system.
    • Acts as co-responsible for the Defect Handling (DF) system.
    • Key contributor to the execution of Daily Direction Setting (DDS) and Center Line (CL) standards.
    • Works with the AM pillar lead to implement Autonomous Maintenance methodology to develop the knowledge and skills of operators.
    • Monitors the progress of implementation and connects with different site pillars to address LCT needs.
  • Monitoring and Maintaining Master Data:
    • Co-responsible with the process lead and accounting department for monitoring and maintaining all master data (SKUs, rates, costs) associated with the assigned LCT lines.
    • Ensures all waste generation points and loss maps or trees are monitored and maintained.
  • Project Leadership:
    • Independently leads and executes complex projects.

Summary of key activities:
30% - Develops and accompanies operators, on their daily execution and performance improvement process.
10% - Understand, prioritize, and delegate the list of activities to accomplish throughout the day to ensure standard execution.
20% - Designs, executes, and participates in improvement projects focused on eliminating losses on the designated production ines.
20% - Develops and manages CIL and Standard work systems.
20% - Generates and analyzes Losses and performance data trends to create and execute improvement action plans.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Good technical knowledge of packaging and processing equipment operations.
  • Able to develop an action plan based on the identified problems (Data collection, trend and statistical Analytical Skills)
  • Understanding of Lean Six Sigma concepts (preferred)
  • Understanding of TPM methology (preferred)
  • Basic knowledge of SAP

Education:
Bachelor’s degree (strongly preferred), or actively working on getting a degree.

Experience:
Minimum 3 years experience supervising in a high speed complex manufacturing environment.
1 year of production supervision at Hershey (strongly preferred).
Minimum 1 year experience with Lean Manufacturing/TPM (strongly preferred).
