Your role at Vantive:

The Consultant Finance Functional Lead IT role will be the delivery partner with BRM (Business Relationship Manager) and FINANCE leadership teams. This person is responsible for supporting the cloning of Finance TSA applications for Vantive. This role will work with the Technical Lead and the 3rd Party system integrator to plan the timing and implementation of all cloned applications. This partnership will enable the FINANCE function to achieve its goals, leverage our technical investments, enable innovation, and maintain Vantive’s leadership position in the market.

This role will define and establish designs for all technical aspects of projects. Knowledge of business process operations is required to identify solutions and opportunities for improvement of current applications.

What you'll be doing

1. Identify, assess, and solve complex business problems for core FINANCE applications and processes.
2. Collaborate with Product Owner to manage the product backlog, prioritize projects and features based on impact and alignment with the team’s goals.
3. Integrate input from multiple channels, including customer research, industry best practices, and stakeholder requirements, into product priorities and requirements.
4. Create and maintain documentation, development standards, and best practices, ensuring platform security and compliance.
5. Ensure the overall design aligns with Vantive's global model, existing business rules, and integrates properly with other applications/processes. Challenge business requirements when necessary.
6. Serve as product engineer for agile or SDLC-based project teams.
7. Design, build, launch, and assess MVPs using Lean principles.
8. Work with in-house application teams and third-party service providers to build knowledge and resolve incidents.
9. Troubleshoot and resolve issues independently.
10. Stay updated with emerging technologies and develop new technical skills as needed.
11. Develop Standard Operating Procedures to ensure consistency in operations.
12. Communicate status, solutions, and concerns promptly within the team and across functions. Deliver presentations and facilitate discussions at all management levels.
13. Mentor and coach less experienced team members, fostering professional and technical development.

14. 8+ years of experience in Information Systems, with diverse IT experience.
15. At least 3 years of experience in SaaS application project implementation.
16. Experience with ITSM processes; familiarity with ServiceNow or Jira is preferred.
17. Strong understanding of integrating finance applications with other systems.
18. Knowledge of finance operations and processes, and how technology can enhance them.
19. Understanding of financial concepts is a plus.
