Ria Money Transfer is seeking a software developer to join the fxOnline team. The role involves contributing to the full SDLC from inception to release, with emphasis on UX/UI conceptualization, object modeling, database design and .NET development across all layers.

The successful candidate will work on front-end AngularJS, middle-tier ASP.NET MVC, and back-end SQL, while collaborating with QA, DevDB and DevOps teams to meet deadlines.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
• 1 year of experience in a high transaction volume environment.
• 3+ years with ASP.NET, C# and MVC.
• 2+ years knowledge of JavaScript patterns, AngularJS and Angular.
• Strong background in web development & OO design, analysis and implementation.
• Experience writing SQL stored procedures in SQL Server.
• Minimum of one year of experience with version control systems in CI (SVN, TFS, GIT).
• Must be able to work a hybrid schedule M-F (9-6).

Responsabilidades

• Report development efforts during daily stand up meetings.
• Participate in Sprint planning, grooming and retrospectives.
• Communicate effectively across QA, DevDB and DevOps teams.
• Code across all layers: AngularJS front-end, ASP.NET MVC middle-tier, SQL back-end.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

The Ria fxOnline team is responsible for the point of sale application at Ria. Our team provides the agents with software to conduct transactions across multiple countries across the world, giving our customers the fast and reliable services they need. This position will play a key role in the full software development life-cycle from inception to the final release. The qualified individual will participate in tasks involved with UX/UI conceptualization, object modeling, database design, and .NET development across all layers.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Report development efforts during our daily stand up meeting.
• Proactively participate in Sprint planning, grooming and retrospective meetings.
• Effective communication across multiple teams (QA team, DevDB team, and DevOps team).
• Code across all layers; front-end development with AngularJS, Middle-tier development with ASP.NET MVC, and back-end development with SQL.
• Actively collaborate with the development team during the entire sprint cycle to meet the current release deadline Provide production support and effectively troubleshoot issues where needed.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a highly transaction volume environment.
• 3+ years with ASP.NET, C# and MVC
• 2+ years knowledge of JavaScript patterns, AngularJS and Angular.
• Strong background in web development & object-oriented design, analysis and implementation.
• Experience writing SQL database stored procedures in SQL Server.
• Minimum of one year of experience with version control system in a Continuous Integration environment (SVN, TFS, GIT)
• Must be able to work a hybrid schedule M-F (9-6)
