We are searching for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team located in Ensenada, Mexico. You should have experience creating data-driven, serverless, digital applications, managing the flow of data between centralized data sources and third-party APIs, and ensuring that internal stakeholders' functionality needs are met efficiently and with high quality.

Essential Functions:

1. Create new functionality and maintain existing platform code and tests
2. Work alongside other client and platform engineers to rapidly prototype new ideas
3. Collaborate cross-departmentally to ensure all requirements are met to specifications and on time
4. Deploy your code in a serverless environment, ensuring high availability and scalability
5. Work with various AWS services such as Lambda, Redshift, Aurora, DynamoDB, and SQS to build secure, data-rich backend applications
6. Integrate AI features via AWS Bedrock to add artificial intelligence to existing applications and develop new workflows utilizing AI
7. Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

1. 4-5 years of experience developing digital applications handling large datasets
2. Solid understanding of Golang or Typescript
3. Experience working in the AWS environment, including creating serverless applications with AWS Lambda
4. Knowledge of database technologies including SQL and NoSQL, e.g., Postgres, DynamoDB, Redshift
5. Experience collaborating with a team of engineers to rapidly develop new functionalities and supporting teammates, including mentoring junior engineers
6. Familiarity with generative AI tools such as Github Copilot, Cursor AI, and Claude
7. This role is primarily remote, with occasional work inside our Ensenada facilities; proximity to Ensenada is preferred
