As one of the fastest growing software companies, AlertMedia is looking for a Sr. Software Engineer with full-stack experience. This role uses a wide variety of design and technical web skills to manage day-to-day requests and contribute to the team. The interview process focuses on showing your work rather than trick questions.

What you’ll be doing

• Design and develop features for the AlertMedia Travel Risk Management product, including developing third-party integrations
• Learn the AlertMedia platform, tools, and their uses for customers
• Work in an Agile environment using tools like Git, JIRA, Jenkins, and Slack
• Contribute to the technical leadership and drive architectural evolution for a critical application
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams using strong verbal and written communication skills
• Contribute to AlertMedia’s culture, values, and vision for the future

What you bring to the role

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field (preferred)
• Experience with Linux-based containers (Docker or Kubernetes)
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (or other cloud platforms such as Azure or GCP) required
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and other storage technologies
• Established practice of writing unit and integration tests
• Collaborative mindset to work with principal engineers and leadership on architectural evolution
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects in parallel
• Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
• Strong English proficiency (written and spoken)
