Westernacher Consulting is seeking an experienced Sr. SAP FICO Consultant to support SAP S/4HANA transformation and implementation projects for international clients. You will design, configure, and deliver SAP FICO solutions, leading workshops and engaging with clients on-site.

You will work across FI/CO processes, drive end-to-end delivery, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a dynamic global environment. Travel 40–60% may be required to client sites.

Formación

• 5+ years of hands-on SAP FICO implementation and support experience.
• Deep knowledge of SAP FI/CO processes: GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Controlling, and reporting.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA transformation or implementation projects.
• Experience in at least two full-cycle SAP implementations, from design to go-live.
• Strong understanding of SAP integration with MM, SD, PP, WM/EWM.
• Hands-on FICO configuration, specs, testing, and end-to-end delivery.
• Ability to translate business requirements into SAP solutions.

We are looking for an experienced Sr. SAP FICO Consultant to join our team and support SAP S/4HANA transformation and implementation projects for international clients. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and delivering SAP FICO solutions, working closely with business stakeholders, leading customer workshops, and supporting projects throughout the full implementation lifecycle. The position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic international environment, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and engage directly with clients through on-site assignments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver SAP S/4HANA transformation and implementation projects, with a focus on SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO).
• Analyze business requirements and design end-to-end SAP FICO solutions aligned with business processes and best practices.
• Configure and customize SAP FICO, including financial accounting, controlling, and related business processes.
• Integrate SAP FICO processes with other SAP modules, including MM, SD, PP, and WM/EWM.
• Lead and facilitate customer workshops to gather requirements, validate processes, and define solution approaches.
• Prepare business blueprints, functional specifications, process documentation, and other project deliverables.
• Support and coordinate testing activities, including test preparation, execution, defect resolution, and validation.
• Support cutover, go-live, and post-go-live activities, including issue resolution and stabilization.
• Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure successful solution delivery.

To Join Our Team, You Need

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience implementing and supporting SAP FICO.
• Strong functional knowledge of SAP FI/CO processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Controlling, and financial reporting.
• Proven experience working with SAP S/4HANA, preferably across transformation or implementation projects.
• Experience participating in at least two full‑cycle SAP implementations, from requirements gathering and design through testing and go‑live.
• Strong understanding of SAP integration with other modules, particularly MM, SD, PP, and WM/EWM.
• Experience with SAP FICO configuration, functional specifications, testing, and end‑to‑end solution delivery.
• Excellent ability to translate business requirements into practical, technology‑enabled SAP solutions.
• Strong communication, presentation, and customer management skills.
• Ability to lead customer workshops and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at different levels.
• Open‑minded team spirit and the ability to work effectively in both small local and large international teams.
• Experience mentoring or guiding junior consultants and contributing to team development.
• SAP FICO certification is an asset.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Valid passport and a valid U.S. B1/B2 visa.
• Willingness and availability to travel approximately 40%–60% of the time to client sites, including international travel as required by the project.
