Job Overview
Drive revenue growth by identifying, qualifying, and pursuing new business opportunities. Serve as a subject matter expert for sales development best practices, processes, and tools.
Job Requirements
- Generate demand and specify TE products through field trials on new and existing products, technical presentations, seminars, customer visits, etc.
- Manage, streamline, and consolidate the distribution and representative channels in your respective geography.
- Provide input to TE product management and engineering based on customer feedback to expand and enhance the current product portfolio.
- Understand main competitors in each customer segment (Utility, EPCs, OEMs, etc.), market prices, lead times, and accepted technologies related to TE Energy products.
- Anticipate large tenders requiring inventory building beyond monthly-historic usage.
- Create a consistent 'base business' in each customer segment, avoiding high dependence on large project wins to meet fiscal year targets.
- Implement a focused action plan with major key accounts to increase sales by 30%.
Candidate Profile
- Degree: Strongly prefer an Electrical Engineering degree, ideally complemented by a degree in Administration or an MBA program.
- Languages: Fluent in English and Spanish.
- Skills: Able to deliver technical and sales presentations, specify products, discuss applications and data with customers, and conduct field demonstrations and training.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in roles involving different customer segments such as Utility (CFE), EPCs, OEMs, Distributors, and Industrial Customers.
- Industry Knowledge: Well-versed in product and industry specifics.
- Personal Attributes: Self-motivated, able to work independently, excellent communication skills, personable, proactive, and growth-oriented.
- Desirable: Experience in multinational companies, understanding of ethics and FCPA, and potential for growth within the organization.
