Honeywell Technologies in Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico, is seeking a Quality Engineer to report to the Quality Manager and operate on-site at our manufacturing location. You will lead QA activities, drive improvements, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and regulatory requirements.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in engineering and 5+ years in manufacturing quality roles, with strong RCA, FMEA, and SPC skills, plus advanced English and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field is required.
• Minimum 5+ years in quality engineering within manufacturing.
• Proficient in English; strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of quality tools (RCA, FMEA, SPC) and QMS standards.

Responsabilidades

• Establishes product quality documentation system by writing and updating quality assurance procedures according to ISO9001
• Maintain the ISO9001 Certification, host the external audits and lead the internal audits.

Job Description

You will report directly to our Quality Manager and you’ll work out of our Juarez, Chihuahua location on an On-site work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with Honeywell and industry quality standards.


• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues.


• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and suppliers to drive continuous improvement initiatives.


• Monitor quality metrics and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.


• Participate in audits and ensure adherence to quality management systems and regulatory requirements.


• Establishes product quality documentation system by writing and updating quality assurance procedures according to ISO9001


• Maintain the ISO9001 Certification, host the external audits and lead the internal audits.

Qualifications

You must have

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.


• 5+ years of experience in quality engineering roles within manufacturing environments.


• Advanced English.


• Proficiency in quality tools such as Root Cause Analysis, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Statistical Process Control (SPC).


• Knowledge of quality management systems and regulatory standards applicable to the industry.


• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive quality improvements.


• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

We value

• Certifications such as Six Sigma, Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or similar are a plus.


• Strong data analysis skills and experience with quality improvement methodologies.


• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
