Epicor is seeking a seasoned Python-focused software engineer to design and sustain production services for an internal AI platform. You will build reusable foundations that enable multiple products to create AI agents and work with teams across Mexico, the United States, and India.

You’ll participate in design reviews, code reviews, and continuous improvement of engineering practices, contributing to a scalable, secure, and maintainable AI platform that powers a world-class ERP ecosystem.

Formación

• 5+ years of production software experience with Python.
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms and cloud-based architecture (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Strong knowledge of integrating LLM APIs into software applications.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly with strong attention to detail.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and sustain Python-based services and platform capabilities for an internal AI platform
• Build reusable foundations that enable multiple products across the company to create and operate AI agents
• Collaborate closely with engineers and product partners across Mexico, the United States, and India
• Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of engineering practices
• Contribute to a reliable, scalable, secure, and maintainable platform for AI-powered products

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years of experience developing production software with Python
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms and cloud-based application architecture; experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Good conceptual understanding of large language models and how to integrate LLM APIs into software applications vely for development, review, testing, and team productivity.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, debugging, collaboration, and mentorship skills.
• Ability to learn new technologies and business domains quickly with strong attention to detail.

What Could Set You Apart

• Hands-on AI or LLM development experience is a plus
• Familiarity with PydanticAI is a plus
