Epicor in Monterrey is seeking a backend engineer focused on C#/.NET to support Epicor Kinetic for manufacturing and supply chain. You’ll build reliable software using LINQ and EF, test with unit/integration tests, and embed quality early in the SDLC.

You’ll also create AI-enabled tools, work with API testing tools like Postman, and collaborate in code reviews and design discussions. Hybrid role with modern tooling and growth opportunities.

• 5+ years of C#/.NET development experience.
• Hands-on LINQ, EF, and SQL Server expertise.
• Proficient with Visual Studio and Azure DevOps.
• Experience designing and implementing unit/integration tests.
• Knowledge of API development/testing with Postman.
• Strong architecture, clean code, and secure coding practices.
• Shift-Left quality practices across SDLC.
• Experience with AI-enabled development tools or AI integrations.
• Proficient with Git and modern VCS workflows.

What You Will Be Doing

• Design, develop, refactor, and test backend components for Epicor Kinetic, supporting functional areas such as manufacturing and supply chain.

• Build reliable, maintainable software using C# and the .NET ecosystem.

• Work with LINQ and Entity Framework to implement business logic and data access.

• Design and maintain unit and integration tests as part of the development lifecycle.

• Apply a Shift-Left approach by embedding quality, testing, and automation early in the software development process.

• Create internal tools, assistants, or AI-enabled solutions that simplify and accelerate repetitive development and business tasks.

• Integrate existing AI capabilities into software solutions without requiring the development or training of AI models from scratch.

• Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement of development practices.

What You Likely Bring

• 5 years of experience developing in C# and the .NET ecosystem.

• Hands-on experience with LINQ, Entity Framework, and SQL Server.

• Proficiency with Microsoft development tools, including Visual Studio and Azure DevOps

• Experience designing and implementing Unit Tests and Integration Tests.

• Experience using Postman (or similar tools) for API development and testing.

• Solid understanding of software architecture, clean code principles, and secure development practices.

• Demonstrated experience applying Shift-Left methodologies and promoting quality throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Demonstrable knowledge and practical experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI), including leveraging AI-powered development tools or integrating AI capabilities into software solutions.

• Experience with Git and modern version control systems, including branching strategies, pull requests, code reviews, and collaborative development workflows.

• Experience working with SQL Server.

• Experience with Azure DevOps and software delivery or release pipelines.

• Experience developing and testing APIs using Postman or similar tools.

• Experience building internal developer tools, workflow automation, AI assistants, or task-oriented agents.

• Experience helping teams adopt AI-powered development tools or practical AI solutions.

• Experience mentoring developers or providing technical guidance and training.

• Experience working with ERP, manufacturing, supply chain, or other complex business applications.
