Epicor is hiring a backend software engineer to design, develop, refactor, and test components for the Epicor Kinetic platform, focusing on manufacturing and supply chain modules.

You will build reliable software using C# and the .NET ecosystem, leverage LINQ and EF for data access, and design unit/integration tests. A Shift-Left approach and AI-enabled tooling are part of the role.

Formación

• 5 years of experience developing in C# and the .NET ecosystem.
• Hands-on experience with LINQ, Entity Framework, and SQL Server.
• Proficiency with Visual Studio and Azure DevOps
• Experience designing and implementing Unit Tests and Integration Tests.
• Experience using Postman (or similar tools) for API development and testing.
• Solid understanding of software architecture, clean code, and secure development practices.
• Demonstrated Shift-Left methodologies and quality throughout the SDLC.
• Demonstrable knowledge of AI, including AI-powered tools or integrating AI capabilities.

What You Will Be Doing

• Design, develop, refactor, and test backend components for Epicor Kinetic, supporting functional areas such as manufacturing and supply chain.
• Build reliable, maintainable software using C# and the .NET ecosystem.
• Work with LINQ and Entity Framework to implement business logic and data access.
• Design and maintain unit and integration tests as part of the development lifecycle.
• Apply a Shift-Left approach by embedding quality, testing, and automation early in the software development process.
• Create internal tools, assistants, or AI-enabled solutions that simplify and accelerate repetitive development and business tasks.
• Integrate existing AI capabilities into software solutions without requiring the development or training of AI models from scratch.
• Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement of development practices.

What You Likely Bring

• 5 years of experience developing i n C# and the .NET ecosystem.
• Hands-on experience with LINQ, Entity Framework, and SQL Server.
• Proficiency with Microsoft development tools, including Visual Studio and Azure DevOps
• Experience designing and implementing Unit Tests and Integration Tests.
• Experience using Postman (or similar tools) for API development and testing.
• Solid understanding of software architecture, clean code principles, and secure development practices.
• Demonstrated experience applying Shift-Left methodologies and promoting quality throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Demonstrable knowledge and practical experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI), including leveraging AI-powered development tools or integrating AI capabilities into software solutions.
• Experience with Git and modern version control systems, including branching strategies, pull requests, code reviews, and collaborative development workflows.

• Experience with Azure DevOps and software delivery or release pipelines.
• Experience developing and testing APIs using Postman or similar tools.
• Experience building internal developer tools, workflow automation, AI assistants, or task-oriented agents.
