Role Overview
The Project Manager specializes in managing complex technical projects across functional teams throughout all project stages, including Discovery & Estimation, scheduling, prioritizing, expectation setting, vendor management, stakeholder management, execution, testing, deployment, closing, and cost management.
Key responsibilities include establishing and implementing project management processes and methodologies to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery that meets quality standards and customer expectations. The role involves managing technical, non-technical, and financial aspects of projects, assembling teams, resource allocation, and active risk & issue management. Effective communication and change management strategies for stakeholders at all levels are essential.
The Project Manager provides logistical support, risk management, and progress reporting, demonstrating expertise in project metrics, methodologies (SDLC & Agile), and tools (MS Project, Planview). They should be able to distill complex problems into executive summaries.
