Advanced Energy in Mexicali seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead and manage complex engineering projects from concept through completion. You will drive planning, schedules, budgets, and cross‑functional coordination to deliver solutions on time and within budget.

The role requires strong technical expertise, clear communication, and mentorship of junior engineers. You will report to stakeholders, ensure compliance with standards, and push for continuous improvement in project execution.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or higher in Engineering or related field and PM experience.
• 7+ years in engineering project management, preferred in manufacturing/industrial sectors.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, lifecycle, and quality systems.
• Experience with MS Project/Primavera and CAD software; PMP a plus.

Senior Project Manager

To lead and manage complex engineering projects from concept through completion. This role requires strong technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
• Develop detailed project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, quality, and external vendors.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Prepare and present project updates, reports, and documentation to stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in engineering processes and project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field); Master’s degree preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in engineering project management, preferably in [industry, e.g., manufacturing, automotive, aerospace].
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, project lifecycle, and quality systems.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and CAD software.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards (e.g., ISO, ASME, FDA depending on industry).
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus for cross-border collaboration.
