Kohler Co. is looking for a Senior Project Engineer to support production processes and improve efficiency at their Juarez, N.L. location. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and experience in lean manufacturing, with a strong focus on project engineering practices and continuous improvement.

Location: Juarez, N.L. / Onsite

Under the supervision of the General Supervisor - Casting & Molds, Plant II, this position is responsible for providing engineering support to production areas, identifying and improving areas of opportunity in production processes or products. The role involves developing and maintaining project-engineering programs consistent with sound engineering practices, KOS principles, and company policies to ensure continuous operation and achievement of production and cost objectives.
Promote continuous improvements in safety, quality, and cost in plant operations.
Supervisory Relationships: Report to the General Supervisor, with a dotted line to Supt-Pottery, Monterrey Plant I.
Organization Relationships: Frequent contact with Quality and Production departments, Foremen, and General Supervisors. Collaboration with support areas such as the Excellence Team and Vitreous Support teams.
External Business Relationships: Moderate contact with tooling and machine vendors.
Education: Preference for a Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
Experience: Preference for a minimum of 2 to 4 years in a manufacturing operation employing lean systems.
Additional Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows-based software; bilingual skills are preferred.
