Formación

  • 5+ años de experiencia en gestión de programas o proyectos.

Amazon Transportation Services Mexico is looking for a Senior Program Manager to drive critical launches of innovative solutions in the cross border, imports, and international fulfillment operations. Today around 30% of Mexico volume comes from out of country selection and shipped through our cross border network. We are looking for a motivated and innovative leader that has a proven record of launching complex projects within the cross border and global trade space.


This position will need to have strong knowledge of imports regulations, and is able to scope, design, and launch programs that comply with all regulatory frameworks. The ideal candidate can effectively communicate and negotiate with a large range of stakeholders, including legal, tax, and tech, to develop an efficient roadmap required for new launches.


This is a unique opportunity to manage program launches that have a large impact for Amazon and its customers. This position drives regular communication with senior management, requiring strong communication skills (verbal and written) and executive presentation skills.


Key job responsibilities
  1. Scope, design, plan, and manage the roll out of program launches (mid term and long term launches) to ensure cross border program continuity and growth.
  2. Own several end-to-end project roadmaps, while effectively prioritizing based on business needs.
  3. Own weekly and monthly reporting of launches you own. Utilize data and metrics to uncover potential issues and drive action according to emerging trends.
  4. Negotiate and influence with various stakeholders and senior leaders to comply with program launch targets.
  5. Write and present business strategy documents.
  6. Ensure compliance of all program launches, keeping up-to-date with frequently changing regulations and new legislations.

A day in the life: Day-to-day activities can change as the business grows. The position will interact with Global exports, Mexico Supply Chain, and Business/Stores to drive critical launches for cross border operations. They will provide project updates through written and verbal communication and own the metric for success, including compliance, cost optimization, and operational continuity.


Minimum Requirements
  1. 5+ years of program or project management experience.
  2. Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
  3. Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
  4. 5+ years experience in cross border and/or international trade.
  5. Fluent English and Spanish (Verbal and written communication).
  6. Experience writing narratives and business cases.
  7. Experience launching large scale projects.
  8. 2+ years of driving process improvements experience.
  9. Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design, or related field.
