The Sr. Supervisor I, Production Planning, supervises daily activities of a large production planning team to ensure that production schedules are met. Responsibilities include managing work activities, monitoring project status, serving as an escalation point, overseeing risk mitigation processes, training team members, and being accountable for team performance.

Coaches and manages the daily work activities and may have accountability for team performance. (40%)
Identifies areas for development and recommends process improvements. Leads changes affecting team processes. (40%)
Assists the team with complex concerns; acts as an escalation point. (10%)
Trains team members and contributes to performance reviews. (10%)
Performs other duties as assigned.
About You:
Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher.
Experience leading Material Planners and Buyers.
Oversees the execution of production orders.
Coordinates with production regarding quantity and type of parts to be manufactured.
Ensures the purchasing department places purchase orders (POs) timely.
Monitors delivery progress.
Communicates the status against the monthly plan to stakeholders.
Previous experience in production planning.
Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
Effective collaboration with the purchasing department.
Ability to manage critical situations like shortages or urgent needs.
Experience in cost-saving projects or continuous improvement initiatives.
English communication skills.
Strong ability to interact with all organizational levels.
