North American Production Sharing, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Production Planner to develop short- and mid-term production plans, manage material sourcing, and lead MRP/ERP activities to ensure product availability and service levels.

You will partner with Production, Logistics, Quality, and Purchasing to sustain continuity and optimize inventories. The role requires 5–7 years in production planning or supply chain within manufacturing, plus Advanced English and experience with Kinaxis and Rapid

Formación

• Experience in Production Planning, Materials, or Supply Chain within manufacturing environments.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Strong knowledge of MRP processes, production scheduling, and material management.
• Experience working with national and international suppliers.
• Familiarity with Kinaxis and Rapid Response tools.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute short- and mid-term production plans from demand forecasts and capacity.
• Source raw and packaging materials to sustain production continuity.
• Create and monitor purchase orders, ensuring delivery dates and supplier compliance.
• Monitor and optimize inventory of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
• Analyze requirements via ERP/MRP systems and adjust to meet service and inventory goals.
• Maintain master data in planning systems (BOMs, lead times, sourcing parameters).
• Share consumption forecasts with suppliers for timely material availability.
• Coordinate with Production, Logistics, Quality, and Purchasing to execute the supply plan.
• Manage obsolescence risks and inventories to minimize financial impact.
• Support new product launches and improvement projects in planning, sourcing, and inventory.

Sr. Production Planner

Objective

Responsible for planning production and sourcing materials to ensure product availability and compliance with the manufacturing plan, maintaining optimal inventory levels and high customer service standards. Manages procurement execution, supplier follow-up, demand analysis, and administration of MRP/ERP systems to ensure plant operational continuity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute short- and medium-term production plans based on demand, forecasts, and manufacturing capacity.
• Manage the sourcing of raw materials and packaging materials to ensure production continuity.
• Issue and follow up on purchase orders, confirming delivery dates and supplier compliance.
• Monitor and optimize inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
• Analyze requirements through ERP/MRP systems and make adjustments to ensure service and inventory objectives are met.
• Keep master data updated within planning systems, including bill of materials, lead times, and sourcing parameters.
• Share consumption forecasts with suppliers to ensure timely availability of materials.
• Coordinate with Production, Logistics, Quality, and Purchasing teams to ensure effective execution of the supply plan.
• Manage material obsolescence risks and inventories, minimizing financial impacts to the business.
• Participate in new product launches and improvement projects related to planning, sourcing, and inventory management.

Requirements

• Completed relevant degree.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in Production Planning, Materials, or Supply Chain within manufacturing environments.
• Advanced English.
• Advanced knowledge in Kinaxis and Rapid Response.
• Experience in inventory management, demand planning, sourcing, and purchasing.
• Solid knowledge of MRP processes, production scheduling, and material management.
• Experience working with national and international suppliers.
