Garrett - Advancing Motion in Mexicali is seeking a Production Planning and Customer Service professional to manage daily finish goods planning, release shop orders, and ensure on-time customer deliveries. You will drive the MPS, coordinate with operations and customers, and oversee inventory and procurement activities.

The role requires a BS in a related field, 2+ years in a similar role, and strong SAP MM/PP skills, with English proficiency and Six Sigma knowledge valued.

Formación

• BS in Industrial/ System Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
• 2+ years in a similar planning/customer service role.
• Key user on SAP MM and PP modules.
• Strong English communication (roughly 90% desired).
• Customer service and procurement/negotiation experience.
• Familiarity with 6 Sigma tools and production planning.

Responsabilidades

• Create and execute daily finish goods production plan to meet Master Production Schedule.
• Release shop orders to production lines and monitor execution.
• Attend daily plan review and drive root-cause/action plans for misses.
• Participate in Clear to Build weekly meetings.
• Analyze materials availability and communicate shortfalls; drive corrective actions.
• Maintain weekly metrics at the AOP level.
• Organize on-time customer deliveries and shipments.
• Maintain and align PRP system.

Job Description

Oversees and/or performs site wide overall Production Planning and Customer Service activities, critical for the plant short to long term operations performance, it is also responsible for generating the SIOP monthly plan and responsible for the production capacity management process for all the operations and customer's teams; Manage the Demand Planning process for the site and MPS plan for each customer.

• Responsible to create the daily finish goods production plan and execute it to meet the Master Production Schedule


• Releases shop orders to the production lines.


• Follow up to the daily plan in the production meeting, and assign root cause and action plan to recover in case of misses


• Participates in the Clear to build weekly meeting.


• Analyzes the materials availability (Clear to build) and communicates the short ones to the team, and executes actions to complete the plan.


• Maintains Weekly Basis Metrics at AOP level


• Responsible to organize customer shipments on time


• Responsible to maintain/ process & aligned PRP system.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in international procurement activities and inventory control, vendor scheduling, and production planning.


• Proven Negotiation Skills
