Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams that build great products and contribute to our growth, we are looking for a Product Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

Reporting to the Product Engineer, the role involves responsibility for receiving, analyzing, cleaning, and customizing all customer technical information/documentation related to their product.

What a typical day looks like:

1. BOM management and implementation.
2. Engineering change management and implementation.
3. Definition of manufacturing process routes.
4. Technical support to CFTs (customer's work teams).
5. Management and control of drawings and product specifications.
6. Management of work meetings.
7. Production support by evaluating product engineering problems of various scope that arise in the production line.
8. Interacting with the customer and various departments on product related issues: engineering changes, development of new models.
9. Suggest modifications to work instructions, material or product changes to ensure superior product quality.
10. Participate in cost reduction activities in areas such as material, inventory, and waste reduction.
11. Provide training to depuration technicians and develop better product knowledge.
12. Leadership.
13. Direct customer contact.

Experience we are looking for to join our team:

1. Completed engineering or bachelor's degree.
2. Experience in similar position in electronic manufacturing environment.
3. Experience in NPI.
4. Experience in product life cycle systems (Agile, Arena, Procom) and MRP system (SAP, Baan).
5. Advanced communication skills in English (verbal and written).
6. Experience in the use of Floor shop systems.
7. Knowledge in personnel management and ECO's implementation.
8. Knowledge in creating and reading bills of materials.
9. Leadership - Experience in team management.
