As a Sr Procurement Project Specialist - Systems, you will execute procurement IT strategies to facilitate effective deployment of new business systems, thereby improving Solstice Advanced Materials procurement results. You will act as a liaison between procurement and IT solutions to define customer requirements for deploying new business applications. Your role includes supporting process redesign and providing training to facilitate rapid adoption of applications. Your technical and project management skills will be crucial in ensuring the delivery of highly effective solutions that enhance IT user experience.

Apply your process expertise and application knowledge to design effective solutions that meet business requirements.

Increase the efficiency and effectiveness of business users by providing high-quality training to enable rapid adoption and ramp-up of new systems.

Ensure that written and visual training materials are incorporated into a comprehensive sourcing training strategy, including business systems and new employee orientation guidelines.

The selected candidate will be an effective communicator based in Monterrey or Mexico City, working on a hybrid schedule to support operational speed and foster greater synergy with the FE Procurement organization.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage and improve data visibility within ERP systems, enhance data accuracy, and drive system enhancements.
  2. Possess expert knowledge of SAP tables and t-codes to assist in fetching data extracts for procurement requests, normalizing and analyzing data to support decision-making.
  3. Work directly with IT to implement technical enhancements in SAP through rapid deployment or project-based approaches.
  4. Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new enhancements, and communicate and train procurement staff on updates.
  5. Drive efficiency by focusing on automating PR to PO processes and collaborating with procurement buyers, plant/site leaders, SAP teams, and other stakeholders.
  6. Manage and conduct monthly SAP training sessions for procurement buyers, covering basic SAP concepts and handling daily queries.
  7. Implement best practices and define/document business requirements for new enhancements.
  8. Develop a pipeline for SAP enhancements to improve data quality and transparency through creative thinking.
  9. Understand system interconnectivity, including but not limited to ARIBA SCC, to enable and streamline supplier onboarding.
  10. Maintain strong communication with procurement leadership regarding SAP updates, upcoming enhancements, challenges, and future roadmaps.
  11. Explore industry best practices and tools for potential implementation within the organization.
Must Have
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum 4 years of proven experience in procurement and project management roles involving SAP and/or other ERP system deployments.
  • Expert knowledge of SAP operational concepts, tables, and t-codes.
  • Experience coordinating IT deployments.
  • Strong data management skills and understanding of data structures.
  • Experience with Supply Chain Collaboration Portals.

  • Strong analytical and innovative mindset for managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Snowflake tables and Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) for data integration and reporting improvements.
