Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into SpinCo, targeting Q1 2027. The role supports SpinCo’s digital infrastructure initiatives and end-to-end power and thermal management for AI data centers and other mission-critical apps, located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

The candidate will lead a team of engineers and technicians, drive process improvements, control systems, and cost reductions while delivering manufacturable product designs with quality and efficiency

Formación

• Engineering degree or bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of metalworking processes is mandatory.
• Experience in production engineering roles with emphasis on line balancing, process capability and cost reduction.

Responsabilidades

• Manage a team of engineers and technicians to establish and maintain statistical process control systems.
• Establish and improve process capabilities.
• Develop and maintain process documentation.
• Manage development projects meeting product specs, delivery, and cost expectations.
• Work with engineering teams to design new manufacturable products.
• Improve throughput in constrained areas.
• Develop, test, and implement new materials and processes for performance and cost benefits.
• Coordinate initiatives to increase throughput and reduce cost.
• Implement HR strategies to recruit and retain qualified workforce.

Job Summary

Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, which we’re calling SpinCo, until the name is unveiled. The spin is planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support SpinCo, which will focus on critical digital infrastructure, delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.

Location: Guadalajara, North Campus.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of engineers and technicians to establish and maintain statistical process control systems.
• Establish and improve process capabilities.
• Develop and maintain process documentation.
• Manage development projects that are designed to meet customer product specifications, delivery, and cost expectations.
• Work with other engineering team members to design new products that can be manufactured.
• Improve throughput in constrained areas.
• Develop, test, and implement new materials and processes for improved performance and/or lower cost and manage cost reduction efforts in assigned process areas.
• Partner with other engineering team members to design new products that can be manufactured.
• Coordinate initiatives to increase throughput, reduce cost and improve performance in constrained areas.
• Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.

Required Experience

• Engineering degree or bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of metalworking processes is mandatory.
