Flex is hiring a Process Engineer to support our Guadalajara North Campus. This role focuses on process engineering capabilities aimed at cost, quality, and delivery improvements for a manufacturing organization.

You will work under the Director of Operations and contribute to NPI, ramp, and transfer activities across PCBA and mechanical assembly. The position requires a full engineering background in electronics, a bachelor’s degree, and strong English communication.

Formación

• Full engineer experience in electronic industry (Process engineering).
• Bachelor or above degree.
• Experience in PCBA and mechanical assembly.
• Intermediate - Advanced English communication.
• Good report editing capability.
• Have good communication skill with OEM customer.
• Familiar with FMEA, DOE, SPC application knowledge.
• Can use statistic method to analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Support PCBA and mechanical assembly process control and improvement.
• Handle New product introduction, ramp up, and material issue handling.
• Communicate with customers and internal teams.
• Evaluate proposed designs for manufacturability and establish robust process parameters.
• Participate in cycle time and process-improvement activities.
• Evaluate and select engineered materials.
• Apply statistical process analysis to products and processes.
• Develop manufacturing documents and review processing methods.
• Interface with production during new process transfer and implementation.
• Assist in training production personnel for new technology transfer.

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Process Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus. Reporting to the Director, Operations.The Process Engineer will be based in Guadalajara North Campus. Will be responsible for process-engineering capabilities focused on cost, quality and delivery improvements in order to support a manufacturing organization.

What a typical day looks like:

• PCBA and Mechanical assembly process control and improvement
• New product introduction and ramp up, and material issue handling
• Customer and internal communication
• Evaluate proposed designs and processes for manufacturability
• Establish robust, repeatable and reproducible process parameters
• Participate to activities pertaining to cycle time and process improvements
• Evaluate and select various engineered materials
• Implement statistical process analysis on new and existing products
• Provide continuous development of manufacturing techniques that will improve in-house capabilities
• Develop manufacturing documents and review processing methods
• Interface with production of all activities associated with new process implementation and transfer
• Assist in the development of training and provide training to production personnel during new technology transfer

Experience we are looking to add to our team:
