Piston Interiors - Jaropamex Acuña is seeking a Senior Planner to manage raw materials procurement and planning in alignment with MRP demands and inventory targets. You will address exceptions, monitor supplier performance, and optimize inventory levels while ensuring obsolescence risk is controlled for new and end-of-life products.

The role requires experience in materials planning, ERP/MRP proficiency, and familiarity with automotive materials standards.

Formación

• Minimum 2 years experience in materials planning functions.
• Experience managing supplier releases/demand.
• Knowledge of automotive industry materials standards is desired.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure raw materials procurement per MRP demands and inventory targets.
• Address plan exceptions and escalate in a timely manner.
• Monitor, optimize and report inventory levels and supplier delivery performance.
• Manage premium freight costs by debiting suppliers as applicable.
• Procure and plan raw materials for new and end-of-life products; avoid obsolescence.

The Sr. Planner ensures raw materials are procured according to MRP demands and inventory targets: Ensures any exceptions from plan are addressed and escalated in timely manner. Monitors optimizes and reports assigned raw materials inventory levels, supplier delivery performance and premium freight - ensuring premium costs are debited to suppliers as applicable. The Sr. Planner also is responsible for raw materials procurement and planning for new and end of life products, ensure newly assigned raw materials are procured on time and obsolescence exposure is avoided/controlled.

• A) Keyboarding required

Knowledge

• B) MS Excel, Powerpoint and Word Intermediate required


• C) ERP/MRP knowledge required


• E) Knowledge of automotive industry materials standards, desired


• H) Training on specific customer requirements, as applicable to the position
