Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Advanced English proficiency, including ability to lead meetings and deliver executive presentations to leadership and international customers.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in leadership or management positions within manufacturing environments.
• Proven experience leading Production, Engineering and Maintenance functions.
• Strong background in budget management, KPI performance monitoring and operational improvement projects.
• Solid knowledge of Quality Systems, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) and manufacturing best practices.
• Demonstrated experience implementing and sustaining Continuous Improvement programs.
• Ability to lead manufacturing operations in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct and control all production activities to meet volume, quality and cost targets.
• Directly responsible for the Production Program and efficiency, observing quality requirements and scrap control.
• Supervise preparation of production reports and completion dates.
• Evaluate procedures to upgrade production methods, equipment utilization and finished goods quality.
• Plan investigations to determine manpower utilization effectiveness and project staffing needs.
• Formulate, negotiate and manage department objectives and budgets, and define strategies and action plans.
• Validate and authorize SOPs for the production function.
• Select, train, motivate and develop manufacturing staff; promote interdepartmental harmony.

Job description

Plans, Organizes, Directs and Controls all the production activities to assurethat the production of goods and/or services meet volume, quality and cost requirementswithin the established timeframe in an efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

Manages through subordinate Supervisors all the activities of Production, applying knowledge in Plant Layout and the Production Capabilities of each Department.

Directly responsible for the Production Program and for the levels of efficiency, observing the requirements established by Quality as well as controlling scrap.

Supervises the Preparation of Reports on Production and Completion Dates.

Supervises or Evaluates Procedures designed to upgrade Production Methods, Equipment Utilization and the Quality of Finished Goods.

Plans Investigations to determine the Effectiveness of Manpower utilization and Projects Labor and Staffing needs.

Formulates, Negotiates and Manages the Department’s Objectives and Budgets, as well as the Strategies and Action Plans to achieve those Objectives.

Validates and Authorizes Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) of the Production Function.

Responsible for Selecting, Training, Motivating and Developing the Manufacturing as well as acting as a Facilitator. Responsible for Promoting and Maintaining Interdepartmental harmony.

Requirements
