TE Connectivity Corporation in Hermosillo, MX is seeking an Operations/Plant Leader to drive safe, high‑quality, on‑time manufacturing and end‑to‑end operational results.

You will translate business strategy into plant objectives, lead multi‑functional teams across Production, Planning, EHS, NPI, and Manufacturing Engineering, and own P&L responsibilities. Strong continuous improvement and customer communication are essential.

Formación

• 10+ years’ experience as an Operational/Plant Leader with proven experience.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree.
• Strong project management planning and organizational skills under pressure with competing priorities.
• Experienced in leading and creating a high performing team.
• Full P&L responsibility and oversight of Production, Planning, EHS, NPI, Manufacturing Engineering, Facilities, Tooling, Maintenance and Continuous Improvement.
• Good knowledge of business processes along the value chain and their impact on results.
• Deep knowledge of lean manufacturing tools and Continuous Improvement.
• Strong oral and written communications.
• Project Management skills.
• Proven operation excellence transformation.
• Business and financial acumen.
• Supply Chain strategies to deliver service and direct customer communication.

Job Overview

Leads the overall manufacturing operation with full accountability for safety, quality, delivery, cost, people development, and business performance. Responsible for translating business strategy into operational execution while driving sustainable growth, operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and organizational capability. Oversees manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, planning, EHS, maintenance, facilities, and new product introduction functions to achieve world-class operational results, leading end-to-end manufacturing operations

• Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations
• Analyze workflow, labor and equipment to maximize efficiency, meet production targets, customer delivery commitments, and quality requirements.
• Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs
• Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results
• Establish and operate the plant in a safe and environmentally sound manner and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Own area budget and operating plan. Drive profitability, productivity improvements, and return-on-investment decisions.
• Build high-performing teams and leadership pipelines.
• Driving Continuous Improvement in line with strategy.
• Translate business strategy into plant objectives.
• Support capacity planning, automation, capital investments, and growth initiatives.

• Accustomed to having full responsibility for P&L and overseeing key departments including Production, Planning, EHS, NPI, Manufacturing Engineering, Facilities, Tooling, Maintenance and Continuous Improvement.
