Pratt & Whitney in Mexicali, MX, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering student or recent graduate for a second-shift role supporting production engineering. The role involves developing work instructions, providing basic technical support, and aiding with tooling, routing, and BOM data to keep production on schedule.

Candidates should be enrolled in relevant engineering programs, nearing graduation or recently graduated, and possess advanced English skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develops and maintains work instructions in a manner that provides production personnel with the ability to build high-quality products efficiently and effectively
• Provides basic technical support and resolves routine problems of limited scope and complexity
• Support Production Build Operators with immediate needs on Tooling and Processes to meet production schedule
• Follows established policies and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained
• Creates and maintains the master route sequences and BOM data
• Assists with and/or generates Run and Holds along with reviewing COs to ensure they are acceptable for production incorporation.

The selected candidate will provide assistance to Manufacturing Engineering. This includes performing a variety of functions in the development, implementation and revision of Manufacturing Engineering processes and procedures. The position will have daily interface with Production teams to understand and provide solutions to tactical and strategic production build and test issues.

What You Will Do:

• Develops and maintains work instructions in a manner that provides production personnel with the ability to build high-quality products efficiently and effectively
• Provides basic technical support and resolves routine problems of limited scope and complexity
• Support Production Build Operators with immediate needs on Tooling and Processes to meet production schedule
• Follows established policies and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained
• Creates and maintains the master route sequences and BOM data
• Assists with and/or generates Run and Holds along with reviewing COs to ensure they are acceptable for production incorporation.

Position may include occasional travel to the United States, as required by business needs, and might require obtaining a visa. Basic communication skills in English, including written, reading, and verbal, are required as part of daily activities in the role. This position is for the second shift, from 3:10 PM to 11:10 PM. Candidates must be available to work during this schedule.
