Ball Corporation is seeking a seasoned data analytics auditor to drive regional analytics for the Internal Audit function. You will gather data from ERP and other sources, design analytical methods, and deliver dashboards for internal and external users.

The role emphasizes collaboration with stakeholders, automation of reports, and maintenance of the regional data warehouse to support SOX and quarterly audits.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of job-related experience.
• Certifications such as ACDA, MCSA, MCSE or CIA are preferred.
• Ability to program analytics/reports using ACL, VBA, and Python.

• Directs Americas regional analytical development for the Audit team and management.
• Identifies and gathers data from ERPs, ancillary systems and other sources globally.
• Designs and delivers analytics, reports, scorecards and dashboards for internal and external users.

• Automates and improves existing reports and analysis for efficiency.
• Leads data warehouse monitoring and maintenance for regional operations.

Works in close collaboration with the Global Data Analytics & IT Audit Director, Internal Audit team members and management and business management in order to identify, design and deliver high-value audit analytics, continuous monitoring solutions and other reporting solutions. Accountable for the management of regional data analytics applications and processes, leading the identification and development of analytical and dashboarding procedures in support of regional Audit team, monitoring and troubleshooting of regional ETL activities, performance of Quality Assurance activities and review, maintenance, and continuous improvement of existing analytical and dashboarding developments.

How You'll Make a Difference

• Directs the Americas regional analytical development activities in support of the Audit team and business management.
• Identifies and gathers pertinent data from various ERPs, ancillary systems and other sources around the globe.
• Designs, develops and delivers, analytical methodologies, automations, reports, scorecards and dashboards, some for regional use, some for global, for both internal and external customers.
• Establishes and leverages business relationships with stakeholders to understand processes, identify needs and determine key data-driven deliverables.
• Seeks opportunities for synergy, improvement, simplification and automation of existing reports and analysis.
• Interprets results of evidence-based methodologies for, and collaborates with, stakeholders to identify strategic opportunities and insights within a business area and/or process.
• Communicates complex analytical methodologies, data concepts, and audit insights to diverse audiences, tailoring messaging to technical and non-technical stakeholders to drive understanding, engagement, and informed decision-making.
• Leads the design, development, deployment and maintenance of data deliverables for the external audit quarterly substantive and SOX testing requests.
• Leads the monitoring and maintenance of the regional Internal Audit data warehouse.
• Manages technology implementations and data maintenance, reporting data integrity, administration and validation issues.
• Manages and/or supports in execution of special projects performed by other functional teams.
• Manages and/or supports Finance and IT audit projects as part of the audit team. Presents ideas and strategy to the audit teams on approaching risks and insights.

What Helps You Thrive in This Role

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Broad training in a related field usually acquired through college or graduate degree level education or work-related experience.
• Job related experience for 5 year(s) minimum.
• Certifications/Licenses/Other: ACDA, MCSA, MCSE, CIA preferred.
• Ability to program analytics/reports. ACL, VBA, and Pythonprogramming languages preferred.
• Proven ability to create value-add reports and dashboards, and ability to analyze output using various analytical techniques.
• Must be able to handle sensitive and proprietary information in a confidential manner.
• Experience working in a global organization preferred.
• Superior problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to quickly grasp new technologies and software applications.
• Strong knowledge of ERP applications and databases - JD Edwards and/or SAP experience strongly preferred.

Additional Information

• Location: Queretaro/MX Office.
• Hybrid On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site for three (3) days per work week (with core collaboration days of Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) or remote from the location of the candidate. Remote work may also be considered, depending on the candidates distance from the Ball office.
