Corning Incorporated is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to lead the deployment of impactful machine learning solutions that enhance manufacturing quality and increase automation.

In this role, you will design, deploy, and maintain machine learning pipelines, translating prototypes into production-ready solutions. Candidates should have significant experience in machine learning engineering, a degree in a relevant field, and proficiency with Python and MLOps practices.

Role Description

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, you will design, deploy, monitor, and improve machine learning solutions that create measurable business value across manufacturing and technology environments. This role requires a strong technical contributor with experience taking machine learning solutions into production, applying MLOps practices, and helping guide others through technical problem‑solving and execution.

• Design, build, deploy, monitor, and maintain end-to-end machine learning pipelines and production-ready solutions.
• Translate machine learning prototypes into scalable, reliable, and secure solutions for manufacturing and business environments.
• Apply MLOps and DevOps practices to support model versioning, deployment, monitoring, retraining, and troubleshooting.
• Provide technical guidance, contribute to architecture discussions, support code reviews, and help coach less experienced team members.

Requirements

What do you need to have?

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in machine learning engineering, data engineering, software engineering, data science, or similar technical roles.
• Proven experience deploying machine learning models or intelligent solutions into production environments.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Python and machine learning frameworks such as scikit‑learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
• Experience or solid understanding of MLOps, DevOps, CI/CD, model monitoring, model retraining, and production support concepts.
• Basic knowledge of containerization or orchestration tools such as Docker or Kubernetes.
• Advanced English skills, with ability to communicate technical and business information clearly.
