Corning Inc. is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to design, deploy, monitor, and improve ML solutions across manufacturing and technology environments.

Responsibilities include deploying end-to-end pipelines, translating prototypes into scalable solutions, and applying MLOps practices while guiding colleagues and maintaining production systems.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years in machine learning engineering, data engineering, software engineering, data science, or similar roles.
• Proven experience deploying ML models into production.
• Strong Python hands-on experience with ML libraries (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Experience or solid understanding of MLOps, DevOps, CI/CD, monitoring, retraining, and production support.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

What is your role?

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, you will design, deploy, monitor, and improve machine learning solutions that create measurable business value across manufacturing and technology environments. This role requires a strong technical contributor with experience taking machine learning solutions into production, applying MLOps practices, and helping guide others through technical problem-solving and execution.

• Design, build, deploy, monitor, and maintain end-to-end machine learning pipelines and production-ready solutions.
• Translate machine learning prototypes into scalable, reliable, and secure solutions for manufacturing and business environments.
• Apply MLOps and DevOps practices to support model versioning, deployment, monitoring, retraining, and troubleshooting.
• Provide technical guidance, contribute to architecture discussions, support code reviews, and help coach less experienced team members.

REQUIREMENTS

What do you need to have?

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in machine learning engineering, data engineering, software engineering, data science, or similar technical roles.
• Proven experience deploying machine learning models or intelligent solutions into production environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and machine learning frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
• Experience or solid understanding of MLOps, DevOps, CI/CD, model monitoring, model retraining, and production support concepts.
• Basic knowledge of containerization or orchestration tools such as Docker or Kubernetes.
• Advanced English skills, with ability to communicate technical and business information clearly
