Flex is seeking a Senior Industrial Engineer for the Juarez Sur site to support product manufacturing and process optimization. You will report to the Industrial Engineer and work with cross-functional teams to estimate processes, plan NP I, and drive efficiency across labor and equipment usage.

The role emphasizes process analysis, production planning, and cost-conscious improvements, leveraging tools like REFA, MOST, and WITNESS. Advanced English and a bachelor’s degree are required.

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Sr Industrial Engineer located in Juarez Sur.

Report to the Industrial Engineer the Industrial Engineer’s role involves:

What a typical day looks like:

• Provides process time estimation to the quote team.

• Simulates process, materials and manufacturing workflow and gives input to process engineers by using REFA, MOST, WITNESS and adequate tools.

• During NPI coordinates process planning and set up with respect to takt, cycle time and direct labor requirement.

• Reviews result during prototyping and trial runs and gives feedback to NPI and sales team.

• Work measurement programs and analyze work samples to develop standards for labor utilization.

• Analyzes work force utilization, facility layout, and operational data, such as production costs, process flow charts, and production schedules, to determine efficient utilization of workers and equipment.

• Recommends methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities, such as restructuring job duties, reorganizing workflow, relocation workstations and equipment, and purchase of equipment.

• Knowledge of personnel administration.

• Knowledge of warehouse and materials processes.

• Knowledge of square footage management and billing.

• Technical skills: knowledge of DL calculations, machine capacities, and OEE.

• Experience in Electronic Industry (desirable)

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Conference with management and engineering staff to implement plans and recommendations.

• May develop management systems for cost analysis, financial planning, wage and salary administration, and job evaluation.

• Develop management control systems to aid in financial planning and cost analysis, and design production planning and control systems to coordinate activities and ensure product quality.

• Design or improve systems for the physical distribution of goods and services, as well as determining the most efficient plant locations.

• Desired management skills for engineers and technicians.

• Leads and supports initiatives to increase throughput, reduce costs and improve performance in constrained areas like LEAN, Automation and/or 6Sigma projects.
