Johnson Controls is seeking an HR Business Partner for its manufacturing facility in Apodaca, Mexico. You will partner with senior leaders to drive the people strategy, oversee onboarding, employee relations, engagement, payroll, and reporting, and ensure regulatory compliance.

You will lead recruiting, talent development, organizational design, and HR initiatives, delivering HR excellence and a positive, collaborative work environment for the region.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in HR or equivalent.
• 7+ years of SR. HR Generalist/HR Manager experience across workforce planning, performance management, pay review, and employee relations.
• Fluent in English (90% or higher).

Responsabilidades

• Lead day-to-day HR activities at the manufacturing plant and partner with business leaders to drive people strategy.
• Manage onboarding, employee relations, engagement, reward, payroll processes, and reporting.
• Support talent development, organizational design, and HR policy adherence.
• Ensure legal compliance, conduct investigations, maintain HR records, and provide timely HR queries as needed.

We are looking for a HR Business Partner.

What will you do?

This is a key role for running the HR activities to implement and complete the people initiatives for the manufacturing operations. You will be directly reporting to the Senior HR Manager and acting as a strategic partner to the business leaders, driving their people strategy to deliver the strategic objectives.

You will provide expertise for the full scope of the HR function including employee onboarding, employee relations, employee engagement, reward, talent management, payroll processes, and reporting activities, talent development and organizational design.

As a member of the HR team, you will work within a vibrant environment that provides a platform for you to use your expertise to deliver our strategic objectives for the manufacturing facility.

How will you do it?

As an HRBP, you will lead day‑to‑day human resources activities in the plant. You will support organization staff by establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program; counseling managers on candidate selection; conducting and analyzing exit interviews; and recommending changes.

You will ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resources requirements, conducting investigations, and maintaining records.

You will prepare ad‑hoc and regularly scheduled HR queries and reconcile them with reports from other databases; prepare or update employment records related to hiring, transferring, promoting, and terminating; explain human resources policies, procedures, laws, and standards to new and existing employees; support the payroll process; and assist with training programs.

You are an assertive communicator, self‑motivated, and possess a positive demeanor which will enhance HR excellence for the region.

Required

• Bachelor's degree in HR or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in SR. HR Generalist role or HR Manager proven experience across workforce planning, performance management, pay review, talent development, and employee relations.
• Fluent in English - 90%.
