Descripción del empleo

As a member of the Classification & Origin team, you will be responsible for accurately classifying a broad range of products in accordance with the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States, European Union, UK, and any other jurisdiction Resideo operates in.

JOB DUTIES:

• Assign HTS classification to support import activities in countries where the company operates.
• Identify the required information for classification and gathering information from systems and/or colleagues of the relevant departments such as sourcing, engineering, R&D and other areas.

YOU MUST HAVE:

• 3+ years of experience in the field of customs classification.
• 3+ years of experience researching and use tools such as Cross Rulings, explanatory notes, Harmonized Tariff Schedule, drawing/specs, and other materials to help classify products.
• 3+ years of experience with the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States, European Union, and UK.
• 3+ years of experience interpreting and applying regulatory laws and guidelines.
