Formación

JOB SUMMARY:

Finance position that supports global Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) spend with business analytics and helps identify cost improvement opportunities. The role will collaborate across multiple organizations affecting product cost, including Global Procurement, Engineering, Financial Planning & Analysis, and front-end Business Units. The role will also involve continuous improvement initiatives in the Product Cost organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with all aspects of budgeting, forecasting, and reporting on COGS for one or more Product Lines within Polaris.
• Serve as business partner to Engineering Project Teams to understand cost drivers, assist with BOM completeness, and provide financial support during all milestone reviews for new products.
• Support Cost Reduction Team with forecasting and reporting project success.
• Work with plant operations teams to budget, forecast, and review labor in current production products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners, providing on-going financial support for product costing, special projects, and backshop parts transitions.
• Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end cost accounting activities, reconciliations, and analysis for assigned product lines.
• Become an integral member of the Purchasing and Engineering teams.
• Provide financial support for special projects, as assigned.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance required
• 2 - 3 years of experience in Accounting/Finance required and supply chain environment preferred.
• Extensive experience in various Microsoft tools, especially Excel required. OneStream and MAPICS experience a plus.
• Previous experience with Bill of Materials structure.
• Exhibits a high level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency.
• Ability to work with and analyze large amounts of data and synthesize into actionable, summary-level information.
• Successful candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Demonstrated skill working with and influencing cross functional teams.
