As a Sr Enterprise Vulnerability Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Implementing and maintaining "Industry Leading" approaches/practices for enterprise patch management and deployment.
- Working with and managing cross-functional teams to identify operational procedures and best practices in accordance with patch management strategy.
- Ensuring overall service levels for server uptimes through patch management policies and standards.
- Analyzing trend data to identify potential patch-related issues on various images and assisting teams in troubleshooting to implement resolutions/improvements for proactive resolution.
- Communicating patch management processes, procedures, working practices, and changes to internal teams.
- Updating and maintaining patch maintenance windows with application owners.
- Developing automation scripts and programs to streamline manual patch operations and improve metrics like mean time to patch and first-time right.
- Providing technical support and consultation to internal teams as needed.
- Performing architecture reviews, infrastructure design, maintenance, and support activities for Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Endpoint Manager (MEM), and WSUS patching systems.
- Assisting with the coordination of monthly Windows patch deployments.
- Defining and assessing patching service levels and success rates.
- Maintaining ticket queues for new patching or change requests.
- Supporting the determination of patches needed and implementing corrective actions.
- Applying ITIL framework knowledge.
- Escalating issues for resolution to appropriate teams when necessary.
- Running compliance, server, and workstation health reports as needed.
- Analyzing Qualys and Brinqa reports to define vulnerability owners.
- Cleaning up Qualys reports from superseded patches.
- Defining strategies for managing remediation and mitigation plans.
- Classifying security patches, configuration changes, and third-party patching software.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A BCS degree and 10+ years of experience in IT.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager and WSUS in a multi-site, enterprise environment.
- 7+ years of experience in Information Technology, Engineering, or related fields.
- The ability to communicate technical issues effectively and translate them for non-technical stakeholders.
- Willingness to work overtime and on weekends with short notice.
- Availability 24/7/365, excluding pre-approved exceptions.

- Planning and deploying System Center 2012 Configuration Manager.
- Administering System Center Configuration Manager/Intune.
- Integrating MDM and Cloud Services with System Center Configuration Manager.
