Your role at Vantive

Join our team as a Sr. Engineer of our Commercial Team. You will lead a high-performing team responsible for delivering innovative, client-focused digital health solutions. This role involves strategic oversight of customer integrations, technical implementations, and team development, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and objectives. You will collaborate across departments, mentor team members, and act as a key liaison between external partners and internal stakeholders, driving revenue growth and enhancing client satisfaction.

What you'll be doing

  1. Responsible for setting plans and goals for their product and for their teams, constantly communicating and building consensus to meet the established outcomes, with PMs and BRMs.
  2. Responsible for planning how the product will be implemented to maximize the value of the product.
  3. Accountable for prototypes, flow diagrams, use case documents, story maps, and mockups to help visualize and describe the feature of the product.
  4. Identify potential technology options and complete IT cost assessments with support for IT architecture resources as needed.
  5. Define features and continuously prioritize with the PM to identify the right initiatives to focus on and add to the product roadmap to ensure there is a constant flow of value creation.
  6. Accountable for the delivery of features as prioritized by the PM with constant advisement on value versus effort and fit to the roadmap.
  7. Play a lead role in process governance with the goal to harmonize processes and the underlying system solution whenever possible.
  8. Innovate through research and prototyping and drive the development and adoption of next generation technologies and business practices.
  9. Work with the technical architects and engineers to define technical solutions and enablers in line with functional and non-functional requirements and the process flows defined.
  10. Integrate upcoming enabler work such as architecture, data privacy, security, regulatory and compliance into the backlog with the PM.
  11. Work with the team to agree on accepted story completion.
  12. Leverage survey results, interviews with users and data/analytics and insights to continuously improve and scale their products and employ product strategies.
  13. Be a constant change champion for new ways of working.
  14. Participate in team demos and retrospectives.
  15. Report progress and status in terms of business and customer outcomes.
  16. Support internal change management teams and external marketing teams to drive adoption and deliver products to market.

What you'll bring

  1. Bachelor’s degree with greater than 5 years of experience in digital/technical product ownership.
  2. Prior experience with commercial products such as customer relationship management, marketing, quoting/contracting and pricing.
  3. Established commercial business acumen.
  4. Technical aptitude to convey and collaborate around the development of the desired functionality particularly with cloud applications.
  5. Prior experience or ability to learn technical development architecture and configuration principles.
  6. Strong understanding and working experience with Agile approach and culture.
  7. Understanding the SAFe (Agile at scale) approach is a plus.
  8. Skills in prototyping and rapid ideation/discovery.
  9. Ability to work with multiple geographies in a multicultural environment.
  10. Ability and maturity to manage senior level stakeholders globally.
  11. Experience in working in regulated environments (i.e. privacy/compliance)
  12. Design thinking awareness and prior usage strongly preferred.
  13. Proven analytical and problem resolution skills.
  14. Solid digital/technical skills foundation.
  15. Customer centric and empathetic.
  16. Objective/outcome driven.
  17. Proactive responsible individual, able to set own action plans.
  18. Ability to influence and build consensus with other IT teams and global senior leadership.
  19. Excellent written and oral communications skills.
  20. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
