Ensambles Hyson, S.A. de C.V. seeks a Sr.

Engineer to lead and optimize assembly processes in a maquiladora setting. You will drive design and technical direction, automate processes to boost quality and throughput, and balance lines while solving daily issues. The role requires strong English communication, 5+ years in manufacturing engineering, and hands-on leadership with CAD/CAE tools and automation experience.

• 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in maquiladora environments.
• B.S. in engineering discipline.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical leadership to a designated product line for all design and function related aspects including day-to-day problem solving and long term strategic direction for the product assembly.
• Automate processes to improve quality while reducing labor and/or increase throughput.
• Analyze and perform assembly line balancing.
• Provides technical advice and troubleshooting on complex processes and equipment.
• Work closely with maintenance department to improve machine reliability/reduce downtime.
• Specifies and works with vendors and manufacturing staff on the installation, and maintenance of production equipment.
• Collaborate with others to implement significant cost reduction projects by validating changes in the assembly process.

OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a Sr. Engineer, fast-response, proactive and self-directed individual to join our engineering organization. The candidate should have a proven record to get results, be a leader and hands-on collaborator with excellent communications skills. We want a professional individual that is an influencer, keeps a positive attitude and excellent at adapting to the needs of the organization.

Responsibilities:

Work allocation will be distributed between specific projects (e.g. justification and release to production of new assembly processes or line transfers) and production assembly support.

• Provide technical leadership to a designated product line for all design and function related aspects including day-to-day problem solving and long term strategic direction for the product assembly.
• Automate processes to improve quality while reducing labor and/or increase throughput.
• Analyze and perform assembly line balancing.
• Provides technical advice and troubleshooting on complex processes and equipment.
• Work closely with maintenance department to improve machine reliability/reduce downtime.
• Specifies and works with vendors and manufacturing staff on the installation, and maintenance of production equipment.
• Collaborate with others to implement significant cost reduction projects by validating changes in the assembly process.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1. 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in the maquiladora Industry.
2. B.S. in engineering discipline.
3. Ability to work effectively in a team environment, both as a leader/facilitator and a participant.
4. Excellent theoretical and applied knowledge of design and mechanical engineering concepts.
5. Working knowledge of CAD/CAE engineering tools.
6. Ability to perform financial analysis and cost justifications.
7. Experience in the design and support of automation equipment and production lines.
8. Ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks with minimal supervision.
9. Strong project management skills.
10. Well organized, enthusiastic, high energy, strong work ethic.
11. Strong English verbal and written communication skills.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• MOST and/or Time-Motion Studies knowledge.
• Advanced Degree in Engineering or Business Management.
• Industry 4.0 implementation

1. Knowledge of SPC, FMEA, DOE, Lean Manufacturing, and process capability studies.
2. Experience with irrigation products / industry.
3. Experience with ultrasonic welding processes of plastics component.
4. Technical supervisor/leadership experience.
