Flex Ltd in Guadalajara, Mexico, is seeking a Sr. EH&S Manager, Metal-Mechanical Operations to lead environmental, health, and safety excellence across our metal-mechanical manufacturing operations.

Reporting to the Director of EH&S, you will define strategies, manage a team of EHS professionals, drive machine safety, emergency response, audits, and regulatory compliance while fostering a strong safety culture and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Engineering or Environmental Sciences or related field.
• Strong EHS leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Lead auditor certification in ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and deploy EHS strategies aligned with corporate objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Lead a team of EHS managers and professionals across metal-mechanical operations.
• Drive machine safety programs, risk assessments and compliance initiatives.
• Oversee emergency preparedness, drills, crisis management and business continuity planning.
• Promote safety culture initiatives and employee awareness programs.
• Lead audits, monitor metrics and manage EHS budgets across multiple sites.

If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.## Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a **Sr. EH&S Manager, Metal-Mechanical Operations** located in Guadalajara, **North Campus.**Reporting to the **Director, EH&S** the **EH&S Manager, Metal-Mechanical Operations** is responsible for driving Environmental, Health & Safety excellence across operations, ensuring compliance, promoting a strong safety culture, supporting business growth, and leading critical initiatives related to machine safety, emergency response, and environmental management systems. **What a typical day looks like:** * Define and deploy EHS strategies aligned with corporate objectives and regulatory requirements.* Lead a team of 2 EHS Managers and an organization of approximately 40-50 engineers, technicians, and EHS professionals.* Support business expansion, new product introductions, and ramp-up activities, including metal-mechanical manufacturing operations.* Drive machine safety programs, risk assessments, and compliance initiatives across manufacturing operations.* Lead emergency preparedness programs, large-scale drills, crisis management, and Business Continuity Planning (BCP).* Promote safety culture initiatives and employee awareness programs.* Manage and improve EHS performance metrics, budgets, and compliance programs.* Lead internal, external, customer, and certification audits.* Ensure compliance with applicable Environmental, Health & Safety regulations and company standards.* Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Facilities, and Leadership teams across multiple sites.* Implement appropriate HR Strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce. **The experience we’re looking to add to our team:** * BA/BS Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Occupational Health, or related field.* Fluent English.* EHS experience in manufacturing environments.* Experience leading EHS organizations at Manager or Director level.* Strong background in metal-mechanical manufacturing, heavy industrial environments or automotive.* Proven experience in: Industrial Safety, Environmental Compliance, Emergency Response Management, BCP, EHS Culture Programs, machinery safety.* Ability to communicate and demonstrate technical expertise with internal and external customers.* Experience leading EH&S programs across complex manufacturing operations.* Lead Auditor certification in ISO 14001, ISO 45001.* Experience with Multi-site operations support. **What you’ll receive for the great work you provide:** * Competitive Salary.* Life & Medical insurance.* Christmas Bonus.* Food Coupons* Saving Fund.* Life Insurance.
