Reporting to the CFO, the Senior Director, Corporate Controller is a global role, directing and overseeing activities in all the organization's accounting functions, including cost and general accounting, treasury, payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, and establishing and implementing strategies to strengthen the Company’s financial governance. This position ensures compliance with all applicable tax and accounting regulations and manages the preparation and filing of all necessary financial statements. The candidate will be responsible for the delivery of accurate, high-quality financial information to team members, the senior management team, the Board of Directors, and financial business partners.

The successful candidate has excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of accounting principles and processes.

YOU WILL:

  • Oversee the preparation and consolidation of financial statements for the company and its foreign subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with US accounting standards (GAAP).
  • Monitor the accuracy of financial data and ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded.
  • Analyze financial data for patterns, trends, and anomalies, and recommend corrective action as necessary.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Supervise the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Provide financial guidance and support to department heads, and ensure that all financial decisions are in alignment with the organization’s strategic goals.
  • Coordinate external audits, addressing any findings and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure continued communication with external third-party providers in different countries.

Treasury and Cash Management:

  • Drive cash-flow forecast and cash management initiatives.
  • Organize a centralized treasury management process.
  • Supervise and mentor an international diverse team of finance professionals.
  • Develop a shared services approach to reduce closing timing.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other departments, including operations, legal, and HR, to ensure alignment of financial goals and objectives.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in accounting and finance preferred.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of GAAP and federal and state tax laws.
  • Proven experience in managing financial operations for international subsidiaries.
  • Experience successfully managing a global shared services accounting team.
  • Experience in leading and managing remote teams.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Able to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience with Workday Finance module preferred.
  • Professional services industry expertise (particularly HR and staffing services) is a plus.
