We seek a highly skilled Developer Advocate who is 100% focused on content creation to join our team at Vonage. In this role, you will create engaging, high-quality written content that educates, inspires, and empowers developers to leverage Vonage's Network APIs and other products. Your expertise will help drive developer adoption, foster a thriving community, and ensure Vonage continues delivering innovative products that provide an exceptional developer experience.

As a Developer Advocate, you will bridge developer communities and Vonage's API product teams. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and share compelling content showcasing Vonage's APIs' capabilities and applications, inspiring developers to innovate with these technologies.

Your key responsibilities:

• Content Creation: Develop written developer-focused content that lands on the Vonage developer blog.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and other teams to improve the developer experience, source great content ideas, and more.
• Content Exploration: Experiment with emerging trends/technologies, languages, and frameworks to find innovative angles to showcase on the Vonage blogs to help developers succeed with Vonage APIs.

What you’ll bring:

Required:

• Ability to write clear, concise, and engaging technical content that resonates with the developer audience.
• Knowledge of any programming language
• Strong understanding of technical concepts and the ability to quickly learn new technologies.
• Capable of conducting thorough research to gather accurate and relevant information.
• Ability to tailor content to different audience levels, from beginners to experts.
• Skilled in editing and proofreading to ensure accuracy and clarity in all documentation.

What we consider a plus:

• Familiarity with cloud communication platforms (CPaaS), Network APIs, and Vonage APIs.

Where you will work:

This position offers a remote work arrangement based out of Mexico City, Mexico.
